- Select 1 career in landscape or landscape management. Create a presentation bout this career.
- Research that career and learn all you can about the career. Use at least two sources and one of those should be the Internet. These sources should be documented on the center back panel using MLA form.

- Detailed description of the career (where usually located, job duties, possibilities for advancement, and the future of the job market for this career)
- Training/schooling needed for this career and schools in the area (local or statewide).
- Possible starting and high salary.
- Rewards and problems for the career.

Turf grass
Create a chart that incorporated the following information about 5 different types of turf grass. You will include St. Augustine and Bermuda. Choose 3 other types of turf grass. Unit 4
Landscape Design
- In a pamphlet, power point or poster, explain the steps to completing a successful landscape.
- Use the notes provided for you and any other information you can find.
- Using information on the Internet, books in the room or any other source, complete the worksheet,” The Principles of Design”.
- Complete the “Personal Design Notebook” assignment.
- Identify the tools used in drawing a landscape design.
- Complete the work sheet “Using drawing Equipment” (Can you do It?).
- Client interview - Create a form that will help you interview your client.
- Using your journal, notate the analysis of the site to be landscaped.
- Finish base and site plan for the site (be sure to include a compass rose on the base plan). With consideration for the client, the site analysis and any other variable you think is important, create a bubble drawing that will set aside the important areas in the landscape. again with consideration for the client, the site and other variables, create a hardscape plan. view the video, “Plant Selection”

1. Using information gained from local nurseries, make a price list for the plant and hardscape materials.
2. Determine what your pricing strategy will be and defend it.
3. Create a bid sheet that not only has the $ amounts, but also a timeline for the installation and completion of the plan
